This is a small online presence for the youth of flooring or anyone interested to take flooring as a trade and we will help people in there area reach out to the fitters close by and from there hopefully help each other grow and this section can help the youth showcase there progress step by step and grow themselves an online cv which will help there future growth. Starting at 16 myself on high end commercial work I've grown not just in skill, but life skills. and it takes alot of time and perseverance to master this trade and especially be able to fit all aspects of flooring even down to each aspect of each type of threshold bars and how to sweep properly on jobs takes time let alone a whole world of floors out there to be tackled which all have there own many variables and hurdles to tackle within busy cities and crazy deadlines. In such a hard trade and with conditions of life and the world we live in the youth are especially finding it hard because the amount of time it takes to reach high levels of flooring skillsets in any given field let alone become multiskilled fitters and without the on site experience , the lack of money a youngster can be offered given there skillset on any job in todays climate is a hard thing for many fitters already themselves finding it hard to keep it fair and continuous and its a big part of why there is a lack of floor layers coming through. At Floorline Solutions we aim to create a platform youngsters who are interested in the trade can create a better way forward and have support whilst they learn the depths of this trade. An online portfolio and CV are created for each person and assistance into finding companies or individuals within there area or in other areas to train and help there cause.
Once FLOORLINE SOLUTIONS is running smoothly the aim is to create a small fund towards travel costs for the youth and part wage structure to help fitters take on some of the younger lads in there areas and take bit more time to train them on the journey and help each other out along the way. The cost sometimes to take on youngsters and train them sometimes outweighs the money on the job and the outgoings also for the actual fitter/s, and there input sometimes can be just passing tools and cleaning but still much needed, many fitters cant just let youngsters jump in and try many of these skills needed so it takes time to progress to learn many aspects of the trade. so we aim to create some sort of fair structure for those sort of jobs with the lads. and guide a more structured helping hand. FLOORLINE SOLUTIONS will only connect youngsters who will be appreciated and taken care of and these youth can flourish for themselves and learn and always find work through this platform going forward.
